Mr. David Edwin Jallen, a resident of Ozark, died Monday, February 15, 2021, in Dale Medical Center.  He was 75 years old.

A memorial service for Mr. Jallen will be held at a later date.  However,

condolences may be expressed at www.HolmanFuneralHome.com   

Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark has been entrusted with arrangements for Mr. Jallen.

Mr. Jallen was born October 6, 1945 in Bemidji, Minnesota to the late Edwin John Jallen and Hazel Eviji Jallen.  He  received a degree in University Studies from North Dakota State University and was a Russian translator.  Mr. Jallen served in the United States Air Force and the United States Army. He later worked as a flight instructor at Fort Rucker until his retirement. He loved horses, gliding and fishing at Lake Tholocco (Fort Rucker).

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Paulette Johnson Jallen;  two daughters, Carolyn Phinney (Shawn) and Jennifer Kopp (Peter Michael); four grandchildren, Caitlin Phinney, Jeremiyah Phinney, Lauren Phinney and Isabelle Kopp; two sisters, Mary Beth Jallen and Susan Simonson; one brother, Tim Jallen; two brothers-in-law, Roger Johnson and Dennis Johnson; and his canine friend, Mickey.
