David Matthew Friske, Sr., age 53, of Cottonwood passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Born December 5, 1961 in Michigan to Gerald Friske and the late Marilyn Friske, David enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. He, along with his wife Peggy, spent time camping, fishing, travelling, and riding motorcycles. They owned and operated Dealer’s Choice Auto in Dothan.
He is survived by his father, Gerald Friske; his sons, David Friske, Jr. and Jesse Friske; his step-daughter, Stacey Westfall (Billy); his step-son, Travis Eggert (Kyla Grantham); his grandchildren, Hanah Westfall, Riley Westfall, Memphis Eggert, and Aurora Friske; Brian Shapley, a close family friend; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
