OZARK…Mr. David Michael Glenn, a resident of Ozark, died Monday afternoon, June 17, 2024, at his home. He was 74.
Celebration of Life Services, with military honors, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 24, 2024, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Scott E. Thompson officiating. A euglogy will be given by Mr. Ronald Wright. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Glenn, son of the late Acil Chapman Glenn and Peggy Sue Weldon Glenn, was a native of Lubbock, Texas and moved to Ozark in 1974. He was a graduate of Kress High School in Lubbock. Following high school, he joined the United States Navy, where he served for four years. Mr. Glenn retired as a court reporter after forty-five years, from the Dale County Courthouse with Judge Philip Ben McLauchlin, Jr. He formerly worked with the Dale County Sheriff’s Department as a Process Server for several years. Mr. Glenn was an avid University of Alabama Football Fan. He was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark. Mr. Glenn was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Glenn.
Surviving relatives include his children, Maddi Glenn, Newnan, Georgia, Jeff Glenn (Lauren), Comanche, Texas, Ryan Glenn, Lubbock, Texas, Melissa Glenn, Texas, and Christopher Meadows (Michelle); sister, Debbie Morgan (Gary); grandson, Acil Glenn; mother of his daughter, Lisa Henderson Glenn, Newnan, Georgia; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dale County Courthouse Employees and members of the Dale County Sheriff’s Department.
