Dewey Steve McLaney a resident of Gordon, Alabama died unexpectedly Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Southeast Health surrounded by his loving family. He was 66.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2PM, Saturday, July 13, 2024 at his residence, 1821 State Highway 95 N. Gordon, Alabama 36343
Steve was born on August 24, 1957, to the late Dewey and Mavis Hall McLaney. He was a truck driver for Summerford Truck Lines for the past sixteen years. He loved cheering on his Atlanta Braves and had a big heart for his pets, Steve was married to the love of his life Pam McLaney for forty-four years. His ultimate joy was spending precious time with his family. Steve was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Dawn Floyd; and a brother, David McLaney.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife; a daughter, Deanah Floyd (Kenny Woodham); two grandsons, Dusty German (Kelsey) and Steven Kyle German (Tiffany Hatadis); five grandchildren, Kayden German, Logan German, Triton German, Temperance German, and Ariel German; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
