Don Charles Adee, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving family in Dothan, Alabama. Born on August 13, 1938, in Fort Lee, New Jersey, Don’s life was marked by his loving nature, adventurous spirit, and selfless devotion to those he held dear.

 Don proudly served his country as a veteran of the Navy. His commitment to his nation was matched only by his devotion to his family. In 1963, Don married the love of his life, Cindy Ray Adee, and together they embarked on a 60-year journey filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

A passionate golfer, Don found joy on the greens, but his greatest pleasure was found in the company of his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love with his wife, Cindy Adee; his son, Sean Adee (Teresa); his cherished grandchildren, Brooke Adee, Ashley Adee, Carissa Adee, and Austin Adee; and his brother, Richie Adee. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Adee and Dorothy Merkle Adee, and his brother Wally Adee.

Don’s life was a testament to living fully and loving deeply. His selfless nature and zest for life will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Today, we honor a man who truly embodied the spirit of adventure and the heart of generosity. Don Adee will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire.
