Mr. Donald A. Ray of Cottonwood passed away at his home with his family by his side on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. He was 70.

There will be no services but the family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, March 10, 2017. Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Ray was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents Buford Addis Ray and Audrey Nell Sellers Ray, and a sister Patricia Ann Deese.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years Gail Ray, daughters Amanda Nichols and husband Donnie, Dedra Blair and husband Trent, granddaughter Mary Beth Blair, special cousins Bonnie Whitehead, Keli Allen, special friends Greg Darby and Amon Hallford, and a host of other family and friends.
