Obituary:  Donald Parrish


 


Mr. Donald Parrish of Coffee Springs passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the family residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 77.


 


Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, March 28, 2016 at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise with Rev. Greg Lay, Rev. Terry McCrummen and Rev. Chris Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in the Marvin Chapel cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 until 8pm.


 


Mr. Parrish was born July 18, 1938 in Coffee County to the late Gus and Martha Bowdoin Parrish. He was retired from the Okaloosa County Water and Sewer department. He was also a member of the Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church.


 


In addition to his parents, a sister, Annie Mae Spicer, 2 brothers, Leo Parrish and Calvin Parrish all preceded him in death.


 


Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Robbie N. Herrington Parrish, Coffee Springs, 2 daughters: Lisa Woodward, Cookeville, TN and Donna Huffman (Stephen), Montgomery, AL, 2 sisters: Rebecca Adams, Valparaiso, FL and Ruby Jewell Davidson, Clermont, FL, 6 grandchildren: Zachery Huffman (Tiffany), Chantelle Ablakwa (Cephas), Sarah Campbell (Brandon), Cassie Woodward, Alexandra Woodward and Amanda Davis, 6 great grandchildren,host of nieces and nephews.
