Donald Ray Hatcher, a resident of Pansey, Alabama died Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Southeast Health. He was 63.


 


A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11AM, Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Union Springs Free Will Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10AM to 11AM at the church.


 


Donald Ray was born to the late G.B. and Mary Cook Hatcher in Donalsonville, Georgia on January 25, 1961. He was a truck driver by trade and was employed by Knighton Trucking in Headland, Alabama. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and having a fish fry. Family always came first in Donald Ray’s life. He cherished every moment making lasting memories with his family. Donald Ray was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.


 


Donald Ray was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Amanda Davis; and a brother-in- law, Sammy Temple.


 


Survivors include his wife, Donna Hall; three daughters, Mary Johnson (Casey), Sierria Brooks (Scott), and Tiffany Farmer (Tyler); two sons, Dakota Deatheridge, and Levi Blocker; a sister, Debra Ann Temple; three brothers, Earl Hatcher (Annell), Gerald Hatcher (Martha), and Danny Robert Hatcher (Faye); sixteen grandchildren; one great grandchild, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
