Mr. Donnell Turvin of Webb passed away Monday, September 24, 2012, at his residence. He was 68.

 

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marrell Turvin officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Mr. Turvin was a member of Berean Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, his cows, driving his tractor, but most of all he loved his entire family dearly.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Claudie William Turvin and Oline Galloway Turvin, sister, Mae Jurkowski, and brothers, James Turvin, Alvin Turvin, Tommy Turvin, and Gene Turvin.

 

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Turvin of Webb; daughter, Trina Turvin of Webb; sons, Jimmy Turvin and his wife, Cheryl of Midland City; Darren Turvin and his wife, Chrissy of Webb; sister, Claudine Pybus of Webb; brothers, Marrell Turvin and his wife, Glenda of Cottonwood; W.C. Turvin and his wife, Linda of Dothan; Jerry Wayne Turvin and his wife, Jean of Wicksburg; Jerome Turvin and his wife, Amanda of Dothan; grandchildren, Keyton Barron, DeWayne Jones, Trey Jones, Kalie Jones, Jimmy Grider, Nick Turvin, Cody Turvin, great-grandchildren, Hunter Jones, Alexis Jones, Kameron Jones, Kelbey Barron, and several nieces and nephews.

 

Pallbearers will be Trey Jones, Jimmy Grider, Keyton Barron, DeWayne Jones, Terry Cobb, and Jonathan Manning.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Turvin, Cody Turvin, Hunter Jones, and Kalie Jones.
