Mr. Foy Ray Johnson of Geneva, AL passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, at the age of 84.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, Alabama, with the Rev. Donnie Earles officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Enterprise, AL with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m. Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Johnson was born November 13, 1939, in Coffee County Alabama to the late John L. and Earline Jones Johnson. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish. He worked for many years as a brick mason in the construction industry. In his spare time, he thoroughly enjoyed watching sports, especially Alabama Crimson Tide football.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dewey Johnson and Gerald Johnson, also by other infant siblings.

Mr. Ray is survived by his loving and devoted life partner of 44 years, Pauline Cassady; one son, Benny Ray Johnson and one daughter, Melody Johnson, both of Gautier, MS; step-children who he loved dearly, Betty Woolwine of Enterprise, AL, Patty Ingalls of New Brockton, AL, Donna Keith (Donald) of Dothan, AL, Wayne Ingalls of Kinston, AL, Jimmy Ingalls of Daleville, AL and Nancy Cassady Brewer of Samson, AL; one brother, Rex Johnson of Samson, AL, two sisters, Patricia Spicer Martin (David) of McDonough, GA and Merle Nowlin of Daphne, AL; several grandchildren, great, great-great and great-great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
