Frank Lamb, 82 departed this life June 19, 2012, with family and friends by his side. This is not a goodbye for us only til we meet again.


 


Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tim Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


 


The family will be receiving at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, June 22, 2012. At other times, the family will be at the residence at 1400 N. Park Ave. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice or the Kidney Foundation.


 


Mr. Lamb was a veteran from the Korean War in which he was awarded a purple heart.


 


Survivors include his wife, Betty Lamb, daughter, Mary Lamb Hammack, son, Tommy (Cindy) Lamb, son, Frankie (Rhonda) Lamb, grandchildren, Connie Hammack (Michael), Vance, Ashley, Brittany, Lindsay and Leslie Lamb, which were the apple of his eye, and his constant companion pet, Penny,brothers-in-law, James (Glenda) Hatcher, Johnny (Wanda) Hatcher, and several nieces and nephews.
