Fredie Lee Masterson

January 23, 1944—October 16, 2015 

Fredie “Fred” Lee Masterson, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, died late Friday morning, October 16, 2015, at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was 71.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Ward-Wilson Funeral Home located at 2414 Hartford Highway, Dothan, Alabama with Dr. Ricky Plummer and Reverend Larry Watts officiating. Flowers will be accepted at Ward-Wilson Funeral Home.

Fred lived most of his life in Dothan, Alabama, with his wife, Mary, and for the last year, enjoyed spending his days on the farm with his children and grandchildren. Fred enjoyed carpentry and spent years volunteering to build churches and schools in locations throughout the world in support of church mission projects.

Fred is survived by Mary, his wife of 34 years, daughter Joy (Brian) Lane, daughter Gracie (Josh) Lane, and his grandsons, Connor and Trevor Lane. He is also survived by daughter Audra Lasley, daughter Kelly Thompson, son James Roddenberry, daughter Carrie Feucht, daughter Cynthia Green, sister Joyce (Floyd) Qualls, sister Kim Brown and brother David (Lee) Walton. Fred was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.
