George W. Wright, Sr. of Slocomb passed away Monday, October 24, 2011 at SAMC.

Graveside services (informal dress please) will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, in Memory Hill Cemetery with Rev. Charles Barker and Rev. Coley Holloway officiating and with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.  Mr. Wright requested there be no visitation and that flowers be omitted.

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Wright; a son:  George W. Wright, Jr. (Tammie); two grandsons:  Travis Wright (Ashley), Trey Wright; two great grandsons:  Caden and Cole Wright; several sisters and one brother.
