Mr. Harold Eugene Sharp, Jr., more commonly known as “J. R.”, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021. He was 63 years old.

J.R., a resident of Ozark, Alabama, was born on May 27, 1958 in Colon, Republic of Panama. He obtained his GED and spent three years in the United States Army. After his military service, he spent the majority of his time doing construction work, and spending time with his family and friends, whom he loved very much. He is preceded in death by his father, Harold E. Sharp, and brother, Newton Lee “Dusty” Sharp.
J.R. will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Nellie Sharp; his brothers and sisters, Donna Dixon, Phillip Sharp (Linda), Becky Taylor, Jeannie Paramore (Ashley), Carol Nelson (Bobby), and Edwin Vasquez; aunts and uncles from the Delgado and Sharp families; his nieces and nephews, Joshua Despain (Moranda), Jason Despain, Michelle Gouge-Epps (Cricket), Jennifer Pearson (Daniel), Alicia Dawkins (Brad), Gary Gouge (Brock), Jerameel Delgado (Courtney), Samir Delgado, Taylor Sharp, Jordan Childree (Matt), Alexia Powell (Chad), Austin Sitz (Danielle), Morgan McClellan, Lilianna Vasquez, Kaddan Sitz (Haiden); and several great-nieces and nephews.
