OZARK…Mr. Harry B. “Jay” Arnold, Jr., a resident of Ozark, died Tuesday afternoon, June 6, 2023, at his home. He was 60.


            Celebration of Life Services, with military honors, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 24, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Charles Goldsmith officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.


            Mr. Arnold, son of the late Harry Burchell Arnold, Sr., and Janet Corbin Arnold, was born December 22, 1962, in Morgan City, Louisiana. At an early age, he moved to Panama City, Florida where he was a graduate of Mosley High School. Mr. Arnold joined the United States Army at the age of 17 and lived in various locations in the United States and Germany. He was medically discharged from the military in 1987 and received his A & P License in 1983. Mr. Arnold lived in New Iberia, Louisiana and in Germany for twenty years, before moving to Ozark in 2020. He will always be remembered as a hardworking, loving, and encouraging husband, father, grandfather, and friend.


            Surviving relatives include his wife, Cornelia L. Arnold, Ozark; his daughter, Jessica Wilson (Tony), Enterprise; three sisters, Pamula Amphelicia, Teresa Howell, both of Del Ray, Florida, and Darwun St. James-Silva, Oak Run, California; his granddaughter, Samara Wilson; father-in-law, Wilhelm Pleyer; sister-in-law, Claudia Pleyer, both of Illesheim, Germany; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
