HARRY FAISON was born August 06, 1947 in Slocomb, AL to the late David and Annie Murl Windsor Faison.
He passed away at the age of 69, Monday, November 14, 2016 in Dothan, AL at Flowers Hospital with his wife and family present.
Graveside services will be held at 12 P.M. Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. on Saturday, November 26, 2016.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Ward Wilson Funeral Home to help with the funeral cost.
Mr. Faison is survived by a wife, Malia Faison, Four children: Marie A. Smith (Dante), Debbie McCree, Patty Baez, Mark Faison. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Harry is a Veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals, including the Purple Heart (2 awards), Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal (2 awards), Vietnam Campaign Medal, Rifle Expert Badge.
Harry was a Jack-of-all-trades. Humble, loving and giving person. He believed everyone deserved a Hi or Hello. His smile was contagious; his energy was energizing. He was always so full of life. You could always call on him and he’d be there for you.
He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle, Friend. He will not be forgotten, but he will be greatly missed by all.
