Mr. Henry Brooks (Bubba) Silcox, Jr., 62, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at his home in Ashford, Alabama, after an extended illness.


 


Visitation will be Sunday, September 15, 2013, from 2 to 3 P.M. at Enterprise Baptist Church, Ashford, Alabama. The service will follow at 3 P.M. with Reverend Coley M. Holloway conducting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.


 


Henry lived his entire life on the Silcox Farm and helped his father run a dairy and farm.


 


Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Brooks Silcox, Sr. and Eleanor Grace Thompson Silcox.


 


Survivors include his two sons, Brooks (Lisa) Silcox and Joshua (Tiffany) McKenzie, two grandchildren, Aaron Brooks and Sarah Grace Silcox; two sisters, Eleanor Sue (Royce) Silcox Halstead and Rhonda Carol (Larry) Silcox Boyer; nieces, Kimberly Allyson (Ralph) Halstead Pfeiffer, Shona Boyer and Shana (Joel) Boyer Willingham; nephew, Matthew Ryan (Amanda) Halstead; great-niece, Eleanor MacKay Pfeiffer; great-nephews, Ryan Pfeiffer, Brooks Boatwright and Jasper James Halstead, along with a number of aunts and uncles and cousins.
