Obituary: Mr. Henry “Harry” Burnon Kimbro


 


Mr. Henry “Harry” Burnon Kimbro of Hartford passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021.  He was 67. 


A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. 


The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. 


Mr. Kimbro was born March 23, 1954, in Geneva County to the late Oscar DeColeman and Ivey Jean Coker Kimbro.  Harry enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, and NASCAR Racing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and he will be dearly missed. 


In addition to his parents, a brother, Terry Michael Kimbro preceded him in death. 


Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Dianne Bottoms Kimbro; daughters: Misty Ballard (Neil), and Bridgett Peters (Steven); grandchildren: Audrey & Max Ballard and Dawson & Brayden Peters; sisters: Norma Beck, Virginia Smith, and Linda Lamb; brothers: Larry Kimbro, and Chris Kimbro; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
