Mr. Henry Lee “Buck” Horath of Dothan passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at his residence. He was 64.


Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Fred Bacher officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, December 2, 2014. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Morgan Hasty Fund.


Mr. Horath was an expert rifleman and a sharpshooter. He retired from the railroad as a switchman.


He is preceded in death by his parents Earnest Eugene Horath and Maxine Lois Donaldson Horath,  and is first wife Sandra “Sue” Lynn Horath.


Survivors include his wife Amber Horath of Dothan; daughters Monica Clayton of Dothan; Kim Flowers and her husband Brad of Dothan; step-son Tom Habetz and his fiancé Leigh of Dothan; sisters Michelle Farmer of Opp; Marie Hawthorne and her husband Tim of Kinston; brothers James Jernigan and his wife Sue of Opp; Eugene Horath and his wife Linda of Opp; grandchildren Brandon Clayton, Nicholas Clayton, Taylor Flowers, and great-grandchild Kyleigh Clayton.
