Mr. Herman T. Culpepper of Dothan passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at his residence. He was 84.


 


Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Woody Farrington officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


 


The family will receive friends at the church from 12 to 2 P.M. Saturday, April 25, 2015 prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Vaughn Blumberg Center Herman T. Culpepper Group Home.


 


He is preceded in death by his parents Tullis and Hattie Culpepper, step-father Robert J. Espy, brothers Hubert Culpepper, Everette Culpepper, Tom Ben Culpepper, Willie Joe Culpepper and sister Mary Lucy Mobley.


 


Survivors include his wife of 60 years Mary Jane Culpepper, daughters Susan Culpepper Warren (Mark), Jane Culpepper Cheriogotis, Karen Culpepper Atwell (George), sister Nan Brannon, brother Robert (Bob) Espy (Martha), grandchildren Hannah Warren Chapman (Josh), Emily Warren, Payne Whitfield, Wesleigh Jane Whitfield, Cade and Sydney Atwell.


 


Pallbearers will be Mr. Culpepper’s nephew.


Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior Adult Classes at Calvary Baptist Church and Jackie Tew, Charles McArthur, Raybon Holland, William Martinson, Frank Culbreth and Morgan Harrell.
