Mr. J B Bell of Slocomb passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 at his home.  He was 65.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, June 4, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Slocomb with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. 

Mr. Bell was born on October 18, 1946 in Leesburg, FL to the late Jessie and Nettie Phillips Bell.  He was a manager in the Florida orange groves for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Angie Bell; one granddaughter; and one brother.

Survivors include his daughter:  Katie Bell of Leigh High, FL; two sons:  Jesse Bell and Chris Bell of Slocomb; two sisters:  Teresa Bell of Leesburg, FL, June Kaufman (Bill) of Fruitland Park, FL; two brothers:  John Bell of Slocomb, Charles Bell (Karen) of Dothan; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
