Jacob Wesley Burns, a resident of Ashford, Alabama died unexpectedly Saturday, June 22,2024 at Southeast Health. He was 39.


 


A private Celebration of life Service will be held at a later date.


 


Jacob was born to Kaye Watts and the late Ricky Burns on June 25, 1984, in Arkansas. He was a Union Iron worker with Union Hall 798 out of Mobile, Alabama. Jacob was always the life of the party, especially when it came to intelligence. He was an avid outdoorsman as you could find him most times on the lake. Jacob’s hobbies included playing golf, fishing, and four wheeling. He loved cookouts, and staked claim to being known as the All-American Chef. Jacob always found time to make lasting memories with his loving family. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He will forever be in the hearts of those who loved and knew him.


 


Jacob was preceded in death by his father, Ricky Burns; and stepfather, Tom Watts.


 


Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 22 years, Diana Burns; a son, Jaxon Burns; his mother, Kaye Watts; two brothers, Jarrod Burns (Mary) and Clint Burns (Emily Smith); numerous nieces, nephews, union brothers, sisters, and many friends.
