James Larry “Booger” Richter, a resident of Blakely, Georgia died Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at his residence. He was 67.

Graveside memorial services will be at Holly Hill cemetery in Port St. Joe, Florida at a later date.

Mr. Richter was born April 20, 1948 to the late Archie McCoy and Lillie Roney Richter in Port St. Joe, Florida. He worked at Georgia Pacific as a Shipping Clerk and retired after 40 years of service.

Mr. Richter is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Gail Richter.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Barlow Richter; son, Jason McCoy Richter; step children, April Williams and Johnny Williams; five grandchildren, Kayne and Krystal Carpenter, Danielle Williams, Phillip and Grace Williams; great grandson, Blake Cook; and sister Yvonne Rogers.
