Mr. James William Glover, 79, a resident of Cowarts, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017, at home surrounded by family and friends.


Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Scottie Hatcher officiating.  Burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


The family will receive friends and relatives at Ward Wilson Funeral Home from 5 to 7 P.M. Wednesday, September 6, 2017. James William was born June 11, 1938, in Houston County, Alabama, where he resided his entire life. He worked for Colonial Bakery for 40 years.


James William was preceded in death by his parents, James and Audrey Glover, and brothers,  Lamon and Frazier Glover.


Survivors include his wife, Priscilla Cherry Glover of Cowarts; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Joe Lyons, and Starla and Todd Smith; grandchildren, Shelby, Chase, Joshua, and Jacob Lyons; Bailey, Macey, Jami, and Jodi Smith; brother, Doyle Glover; sisters, Dorothy Brown, Jeanette McCurly, and Judy Tiberio; and several nieces and nephews.
