Jeffrey Talmadge Sheppard, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2024, in Dothan, Alabama. Born on November 15, 1954, in Mississippi, Jeffrey's generous nature touched the lives of all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, October 11, 2024 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Dr. Ricky Plummer officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Friday, October 11, 2024, one hour prior to the service.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his father Talmadge Odell Sheppard.

As a loving son to his mother, Shirley Clark, Jeffrey carried with him the values of kindness and compassion she instilled in him. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Heather Deese (Tim) and Candice Kent (Jimmy), and his son, Jeffrey S. Sheppard (Kayla). Jeffrey's brother, Kevin Sheppard (Abbie), and sister, Joye Stephens (Al), along with several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, will forever cherish the memories they created with him.

Jeffrey's love for the outdoors was a testament to his adventurous spirit. An avid hunter and classic car enthusiast, he found joy and tranquility in the embrace of nature. His commitment to serving others was exemplified by his time in the Air National Guard, demonstrated his love for his country.

His loyal pet companion, Beauty, was a source of comfort and friendship. showcasing Friends will remember him as the person who would do anything for you, a testament to his friendly and approachable demeanor.

As we bid farewell to Jeffrey Talmadge Sheppard, we take solace in the knowledge that his spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness and warmth.
