   Mr. Jerrell Glynn Welch, a resident of Skipperville, died Friday, August 26, 2022, in Flowers Hospital. He was 66 years old.


   A memorial service for Mr. Welch will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from Concord Congregational Methodist Church with Reverend Phil Smith officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Flowers will be accepted.


   Mr. Welch was born July 5, 1956 in Ozark, Alabama to the late Joseph Martin Welch and Mamie Inez Thompson Welch. He was a 1974 graduate of Carroll High School in Ozark. He worked with Evans Rail Car as a welder, later with J. B. Head Construction Company as a Supervisor and retired as a custom home builder. Glynn was an Alabama fan who loved his five dogs, enjoyed fishing and woodworking.


   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Michael Welch; two brothers, Ernest Welch and Ronnie Welch; two brothers-in-law, Ed Kirkland and Jay Allums.


   Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Tami Lynn Blalock Welch of Skipperville; one daughter, Michelle Krueger (Michael) of Oklahoma; one son, Ryan Welch (Whitney) of Skipperville; one stepson, Trent Etheredge (Rachel) of Echo; three sisters, Mary Kirkland of Ozark, Alice Allums of Georgia and Rebecca Capps (Eric) of Dothan; two brothers, Tony Welch (Lynn) of Skipperville and Lynn Welch (Lisa) of Ewell; ten grandchildren, Maddox Krueger, Helena Krueger, Barrett Krueger, Easton Welch, Mackenzie Welch, Madelyn Welch, Wake Welch, Avery Welch, S. J. Etheredge and Kyle Etheredge. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
