Jerry Fay Ridley, 61, of Ashford, Alabama, died Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at his residence.

 

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Harden officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the services and at other times will be at their respective homes.

 

Born in Houston County, Alabama, Jerry was a son of the late L.P. and Helen Mercer Ridley. He was a graduate of Ashford High School and worked in route delivery with the Dothan Eagle Newspaper for the past fifteen years and was of the Baptist faith.

 

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Jeniffer (Jerry) Boyett, Troy, AL; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph (Hannah) Ridley, Clermont, GA; a brother and sister-in-law, Joel (Rosanne) Ridley, Dothan, Alabama; four grandchildren, Cody Boyett, Dylan Ridley, Tyler Ridley and Kaylee Ridley.
