Obituary:  Mr. Jerry M. Bullington

 

            Mr. Jerry M. Bullington of Hartford passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2012 at the family residence.  He was 66.

 

            Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 3, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Ferrell and Rev. Jimmy Cook officiating.  Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

 

            The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

 

            Mr. Bullington was born on November 8, 1945 in Guntersville, AL to the late Hobert Marcus and Ora Bullington.  He was of the Baptist faith.

 

            He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol A. Smith Bullington; his parents; one daughter:  Patricia Ann Bullington; one brother:  Francis Eugene Davis; and a special nephew:  Gary Eugene Davis.

 

            Survivors include his daughter:  Pam Cassista (Bert) of Hartford; one son:  Donnie Bullington of Enterprise; one brother:  Bill Bullington (Cathy) of McArthur, CA; one granddaughter:  Brandy Cassista; one niece, Frances Hill; four nephews: Billy and Michael Wright, Jason and Jamie Bullington; and many friends.
