Mr. John Clinton Marler (J.C.) passed away August 4, 2018 at 74 years old at SEAMC in Dothan.


 


Mr. Marler retired in 2004 from Fort Rucker after 39 years working with maintenance contractors.


 


Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Brother Louie Reynolds and Brother Mark Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.


 


He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnie Marler and Annie Ruth Harper Marler; his siblings, Ralph Marler, Ellen Fortenberry, Janice Fernandez, James Marler, and Sharon Marler.


 


Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Barbara Marler of Enterprise ; two sons, Mike Marler ( Susan) of New Brockton and Tim Marler of Enterprise; four grandchildren, Brandon Marler, Justin Marler, Brittney Long, and Kaydee Matthews; one great grandchild, Carson McNeil; three sisters; Ada Knight of Elba, Patsy McInnis of Malvern, and Jane Marler of New Brockton; one brother, Wendell Marler of New Brockton.


 


Flowers will be accepted or contribution can be made to Brockton Masonic Lodge # 694 P.O. Box 178 New Brockton Alabama 36351.
