Johnny David Clark, a resident of Louisville, Alabama passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama. He was 68 years old.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Louisville Baptist Church in Louisville, Alabama with Rev. Mike Whitman officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will have a private graveside. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Glover Funeral Home in Clayton, Alabama. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials can be made to Louisville Baptist Church- c/o The Gathering: PO Box 115 Louisville, Alabama 36048 or to the Louisville Fire & Rescue-c/o Janice Clark: PO Box 125 Louisville, Alabama 36048.


Johnny was born August 15, 1955, in Troy, Alabama to the late William Council and Doris Vernon Kennedy Clark. He worked for over 40 years in research and development for American Buildings Co. in Eufaula, Alabama. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, but most of all he loved his family and spending time with them. Johnny was a member of Louisville Fire and Rescue, Greens Crossroads Fire Department, Louisville City Council, and a faithful member of Louisville Baptist Church.


He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Thomas Stell; two brothers, Donald Ray Clark and Lance Clark; sister, Mary Ryals; father and mother-in-law, Jack and Martha Williams.


Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 47 years, Judy Williams Clark; son, Jonathan (Mary Frances) Clark of Comer, Alabama; daughter, Kristy Clark (Wayne) Stell of Clayton, Alabama; brother, Billy Wayne Clark of Louisville, Alabama; four grandchildren, Hayden Stell, Connor Stell, Lorelai Clark, and Julie Catherine Clark; aunt, Joyce Harris; several nieces and nephews.


Active pallbearers will be Jay Clark, Heath Clark, Rustin Clark, Scott Little, Billy Jack “BJ” Williams, Zach Williams, Christopher Ryals, and Carl Childree.


Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Bergquist, Stephen Doss, and Jimmy Bell.
