OZARK… Mr. Joseph A. “Tony” Virag, a resident of Ozark, died late Thursday evening, December 2, 2021, in Extendicare Health & Rehab in Dothan. He was 69.


                 Graveside services, with military honors, will be held at 3:00 P.M.  Monday, December 6, 2021, at Woodlawn Memory Gardens in Ozark. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.



            Tony was born June 2, 1952, in Montgomery, Alabama and moved to Ozark in 1968. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Virag and Norma Lott Virag.



            Surviving relatives include his wife, Elaine Virag, Ozark; two sons, Erik Virag (Kayla), Ozark and David Virag, Orlando, FL; two sisters, Kathy Baker, Victoria Community and Patricia V. Balli (Enrique), Dothan; two brothers, John Thomas Virag, Florida and Mike Virag, Dothan; a grandson, Rowan Virag; mother-in-law, Jean Clemmons, Ozark; several nieces and nephews.
