DALEVILLE…Mr. Joseph R. Fournier, a resident of Daleville, died early Saturday morning, October 23, 2022, in the Oak View Healthcare Facility. He was 68.

            In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark was in charge of arrangements.

            Mr. Fournier, son of the late Roland Fournier and Marguerita St. Pierie, was a native of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Mr. Fournier’s disability did not keep him from being a handyman and a mechanic. He moved to the Wiregrass area in 1990 to be with his friends because Rhode Island was “too cold for him”.

            Surviving relatives include his two sisters, Patrice Choquette (Robert), Glocestes, Rhode Island and Joan James, Rhode Island; two brothers, David Fournier, Rhode Island and Keith Fournier, Seattle, Washington; five nieces and four great-nieces; the love of his life and friend, Philsha Walker
