ARITON…Mr. Kenneth Wallace Faulk, Jr., known to many as Ken Faulk, a resident of Ariton, died Tuesday evening, June 4, 2024, in a Dothan hospital following an extended illness.  He was 57.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 10, 2024, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Freddie Turner and Mr. Larry Senn officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

            Mr. Faulk was born May 18, 1967, in Dale County, Alabama. He was self-employed in the roofing and drywall industry for several years. During his free time, he enjoyed fishing and gardening. Ken was preceded in death by his brother, Shellie Michael Faulk, brother-in-law, Jeffrey Scott Odom, nephew, Luther Smith and his wife, Angel, and a great nephew, Preston Smith.

            Surviving relatives include his parents, Kenneth and Sue Sanders Faulk, Ozark; two sisters, Wanda Odom, Ariton and Amanda Watson, Ozark; daughter, McKenzie Shilling (Matthew), Eufaula; two grandchildren, Matthew and Caroline; nephew, Justin Knutson, Ariton; four nieces, Charlotte Hoover, Champaign, Illinois, Shellie Watson, Arizona Watson, and Tatum Marsh, all of Ozark; great niece, Lillian Lockhart; two great-nephews, Vincent Lockhart and Asher Fleming; aunts and uncles, Marrell Sanders (Katherine), Ronnie Faulk (Elizabeth), and Lois Gaston; many cousins and friends.
