Mr. Kenneth Hoyle Hannah, 88, of Dothan, passed away on August 26, 2017.


 


Mr. Kenneth was born May 18, 1929 to Mr. Mont Hannah and Margret Hannah. He was a school teacher and Principal in Haywood County NC. He relocated to the Panama Canal Zone where he was a school teacher and Principal until retiring in 1985 to Dothan. He was a dedicated husband and father and enjoyed traveling with his family to Central and South America. He served in the US Army from 1951-53 during the Korean War. He was one of eight sons who proudly served his country in time of war. He enjoyed the outdoors and took pride in a bountiful garden. 


 


In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Hannah, son, Edward Hannah and daughter, Betsy Hannah.


 


Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Holland Hannah; son, John Hannah (Sharon Krauss) of Candler, NC; step-daughters, Pam Cole (Greg) of Dothan, Cindy Moss of Dothan, Sheila Armstrong (Joe Paul) of Dothan; grandchild, Melinda Griffis.


  



The family would like to thank the staff at Flowers Hospital, the caring staff at Extendicare, the staff of Kindred Hospice, and Dr. Doug Jackson and staff for all the years of care and support.



 



A Memorial Service will be held at Covenant United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 11 A.M., Thursday, August 31, 2017.
