CORSICANA, TEXAS…Mr. Kenneth Wayne Coots, a resident of Corsicana, Texas, died early Tuesday morning, November 22, 2022, in a Dothan hospital while visiting relatives in Ozark. He was 81.

            In keeping with the wishes of the family, no public services planned locally. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

            Mr. Coots, son of the late James William Coots and Angus Pearl Denney Coots, was a native of Madison, West Virginia. He was a retired Industrial Maintenance Superintendent from NL Shaffer, a manufacturer of pressure control devices. Mr. Coots enjoyed being with family and friends telling stories, playing golf, and most of all family reunions. He was preceded in death by a son, Kelvin Wayne Coots; six brothers, Jimmy Coots, Jack Coots, Clyde Coots, Bob Coots, Bill Coots, and S. Gene Coots.

            Surviving relatives include his daughter, Karin S. St. Andre (Bobby Goe), Richmond, Texas; two sons, Jack Lee Coots (Susan), Sneads Ferry, North Carolina and Jody Allen Coots (Jennifer), Shelton, Washington; a sister, Judy Wise, Ozark; three brothers, Kennard Coots, Ozark, Charlie Coots (Jewel), Mobile, Danny Coots, Enterprise; two grandchildren, Stacey St. Andre and Spencer Coots; two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn St. Andre and Kaliyah St. Andre.
