Mr. Kevin Len Retherford, age 48, a resident of Cowarts, died suddenly Wednesday January 21, 2015 at the SAMC.

Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 in the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Blair officiating and Kendall Glover directing. 

Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Retherford was born on July 20, 1966 in Plattsburgh, N.Y., the son of Jerry Hilton Retherford and Loretta Jean Ormsby Retherford.  Kevin has lived most of his adult life in Houston County.  He was a painter and was working with Think South Painting at the present time.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Hilton Retherford.

Survivors include: 3 children, Destiny, Shauna & Aaron Retherford, all of Elsanore, AL.; Mother, Loretta Paynter (Walter), Plattsburgh, N.Y.; 2 sisters, Karla Whitehurst (Tony), Headland; Gerri Watkins, Dothan; a brother, Jeffrey Retherford (Amy), Ozark; longtime partner, Patricia Blair, Cowarts; several nieces & nephews.  

Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
