Mr. Leamon Lee Miller of Hwy 153 South, Samson, Alabama passed away at his daughter's home Saturday, October 24, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was 76.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Woodie Dupree officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning 1:00 p.m. and continue until service time.
Mr. Miller was born March 28, 1939, in Geneva County, Alabama to the late Bascom Lee and Eunice Wise Miller. He was a self-employed mechanic and he enjoyed going to the casinos playing the slot machines. His philosophy was “you have to have money to make money”.
In addition to his parents, two brothers: Jack and Frank Miller, and a sister, Annie Merle Miller preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters: Desiree (Barry) Beard of Denton, TX and Dana (Billy Don) Infinger of Defuniak Springs, FL; three sons: Robert Leamon Miller, John Kyle Miller and Devin Reed Miller all of Defuniak Springs, FL; eight grandchildren: Miranda Miller, Emma Lee Infinger McDonnell, Billy (Karissa) Infinger, Katelynn Beard, Sydni Miller, Dawson Beard, Layla Miller and Shelby Ammons; four great-grandchildren: Kaylin, Kendyl, Stetson, Brynn, and one little blessing on the way, Landon; one sister: Mary Frances (Berlie) Harrold of McKinney, TX; two brothers: Jimmie Miller of Samson, AL and Benny Ray Miller of TX; mother of his children, Edith Maples of Defuniak Springs, FL; several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends
