Mr. Leo Galimore of Enterprise went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 12, 2012 in the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 91.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 14, 2012 at 2:00 pm from Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ralph Jones and Reverend Leon Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise on Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 5:00 to7pm.
Mr. Leo was born March 22, 1921 in Coffee County to the late Monroe and Claudia Nelson Galimore. He served 4 years with Army Infantry during WWII, as well as dedicating 32 years to Civil Service. He enjoyed several hobbies which included: gardening, woodworking, and coaching little league sports. He was a member of the Park Avenue Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by a son, Larry Galimore.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Grace H. Galimore, Enterprise, one son: Gary Galimore, Enterprise, daughter-in-law: Robin Galimore, Fl, four grandchildren: Bo Galimore (Catherine), Enterprise, Brad Galimore, Enterprise, Amy Alvarez (Pete), Florida, Amber Goolsby (Josh), North Carolina, one brother: Orell Galimore, Atlanta, GA, one great grandson: Gavin Galimore.
