Obituary: Mr. Mark Anthony Vaudo

 

Mr. Mark Anthony Vaudo of Dothan passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Flowers Hospital. He was 46. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Wicksburg Assembly of God Church with Rev. Tim Simmons officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. 

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday following the service. 

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Wicksburg Assembly of God Church in memory of Mr. Vaudo. 

Mr. Vaudo was born July 22, 1978 in Norfolk, VA to Bruce Austin Vaudo and Margaret Ann Rice. Mark worked in Telecommunications for a number of years, traveling to numerous places throughout his career. He was always the life of the party, and would always be the one to get people on the dance floor. Mr. Vaudo was a father, son, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Austin Vaudo; stepfather, Greg Tucker, and brother, Eric Mattson. 

Survivors include daughters: Savana Barlow (Nick), and Lexa Keenen (Cody); sons: Drake Vaudo, and Jett Vaudo; mother, Margaret Rice Tucker; brother, Deric Vaudo; nieces and nephews: Elijah Vaudo, Yasmin Vaudo, Vanity Vaudo, Nevaeh Vaudo, and Mila Vaudo; other extended family and friends
