Mr. Max Rudolph Mcdaniel, age 88, a resident of Dothan died Wednesday October 15, 2014 at his residence


 Glover Funeral Home is in charge of the cremation services and no other service is scheduled at this time.


 Mr. McDaniel was born on August 14, 1926 in Jay, Florida, the son of Howard Crayton McDaniel and Easter Lee Flowers McDaniel. He worked as a Lead Man in Avionics Aircraft industry and had been a resident of Dothan since 1999. He was a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran and a Purple Heart recipient.


 He was preceded in death by parents; 2 brothers, Rex McDaniel, Wayman McDaniel; step daughter, Debi Gulledge.


 Survivors include: wife, JoAnn McDaniel, Taylor, AL.; daughter, Melinda  Clements (Don) Dothan, AL.; son, Johnny McDaniel, Dothan AL.; daughter, Joyce Maxine York, Midland City, AL.; son, Bruce McDaniel, Blountstown, FL.; son, Randall C. McDaniel (Diane), Slocomb AL.; sister, Dorothy McCaslin, Lake Eufaula, AL.; brother, Wayne Douglas McDaniel, California; 2 step daughters, Sheree Berthot (Danny), Enterprise, AL.; Linda Trawick (Max), Cottonwood, AL.; 17 grandchildern and many great-grandchildern.
