Noah Kendell “Ken” Yarbrough, a resident of Dothan, died Monday night, September 18, 2017.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 1:30 P.M. to 3 P.M. at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery at 3:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wiregrass Humane Society. Family and friends are welcome to join in the procession for Ken’s final ride, led by motorcycles from Ward Wilson Funeral Home to Gardens of Memory.
Mr. Yarbrough’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, Alabama football, classic cars, and spending time with his pets. He grew up and attended Wicksburg High School. He was employed after high school at Headstrom and retired from Michelin after a 27 year career.
He is preceded in death by his mother Maudie Smith Forrester, father Noah Yarbrough, brother LaVonne (Don) Thweatt, and a son Matt Yarbrough.
Mr. Yarbrough is survived by his wife Martha Maddox Yarbrough, son Zac Yarbrough, grandchildren Reagan and Weston Yarbrough, sister Patricia Hardy (Will), niece Sandy Waller, nephew Ron Thweatt, great-nephews Dave Waller and Preston Smith and loving pets Lulu, Lucy, Bentley, and Bart.
