Mr. Oscar Harold Judah of Samson passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018. He was 85. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson with and Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
Mr. Judah was born in the Sellersville Community on March 7, 1933, to the late F.J. and Lona Elizabeth Churchwell Judah. He was a graduate of Samson High School, Class of 1951. After a tour of duty as a US Army MP during the Korean War, Mr. Judah worked as an ironworker on the Hancock Tower in Chicago. He also worked on the Minuteman Missile Silo facilities in North Dakota and Wyoming. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a truck driver, covering the entire continental US for more than thirty years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clavis Marie “Bea” Judah; and three siblings, Richard Carol Judah, Grady Farrol Judah, and Thomas Eulon Judah.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Gail Judah Guidry (Glenn) of LaPlace, LA; son, Dennis Ray Johnson of Lynwood, IL; three grandchildren, Adam Cauley, Daniel Johnson, and Brenna Johnson; one great-granddaughter, Caitlyn Pringle; one great-grandson, Cowen Cauley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
