Paul Edward Peterson, 46, of Dothan, AL entered into eternal rest, Thursday evening, October 24, 2024, at his residence after an extended illness.

Born January 7, 1978, in Steubenville, OH to Shirley McCann and the late Jim Peterson, Sr. Throughout his career, Paul worked construction and was an accomplished artist, guitarist, and musician. Paul loved his family, friends, and the Georgia Bulldogs, but above all else, he loved the Lord.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, a brother, Douglas Gombar, and a sister, Deanna Whitaker.

In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by his children, Travis Ferrell, Gage Peterson, Logan Felker, and Aspen Peterson; grandchildren Charlee, Victoria, Jaxxyn, Delilah, and Emma; brothers Jim Peterson (Sarah Thorne), and Benjamin Simpson (April); a sister, April Grantham, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was also a father and grandfather figure to many others whom he loved as his own.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
