Mr. Phillip Randolph Bell of Dothan passed away at his home Thursday, September 13, 2012, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 65 years old.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 16, 2012, at 3:30 pm at Sunset Memorial Park.
The family will be receiving friends at Ward Wilson Funeral Home from 1 to 3 P.M. Sunday, September 16, 2012. Flowers will be accepted or contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
He was born October 22, 1946, to the late Cap.R. Bell and Sybil Robinette Bell. He graduated from Ashford High School in 1965 and from Troy University in 1969. He also served in the Alabama National Guard. Mr. Bell worked at Bell Supply Company Inc. for over 50 years serving as President for the last 20 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Carolyn Wright Bell, his daughter, Brandi Bell King (Kevin), his son, Christopher Bell, one granddaughter. Brittany King, one grandson, Brandon King, two sisters, Gayle Brown (Gary), and Donna Haisten (Cliff), all of Dothan. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Vera Wright, a sister-in-law, Susan Smith (Bill), and a brother-in-law, Tommy Wright, several nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts also survive. He leaves behind his special dogs, Wilson and Sophie.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon King, Josh Haisten, Jay Haisten, Robin Brown, Jeff Brown, and Brandon Price.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Employees of Bell Supply Co Inc.
