 Mr. William H. “Polly” Crocker of Elba passed away Friday, September 18, 2015.  He was 83.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2015 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson.  A private memorial service will be held at a later time.


Mr. Crocker was born in Coffee County on July 15, 1932 to the late William Frank Crocker and Fannie Hood Crocker.  He retired from Ft. Rucker where he worked as an electrician for nearly thirty years.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Barefoot; and two brothers, Coy Johnston and W.Z. Crocker.


He is survived by one daughter, Cindy Crews (Marc) of Dothan; two sons, Will Crocker (Jennie) of Hartford and Jay Crocker (Amanda) of Samson; and four grandchildren, Ethan Crews, Claire, Jemma and Danielle Crocker.
