Mr. Ralph Averett Chalker, age 67, of Dothan, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Pathway Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. followed by a service at 11:00 A.M. with Brother Tommy White and Pastor Rod Anderson officiating.
Born August 21, 1955 in Alabama to the late William Coley Chalker, Sr and Mamie Louise Averett Chalker, Ralph was a graduate of Huntington College. For the majority of his career, Ralph worked for various companies in a project manager and test coordinator capacity and served for 12 years on the Daleville City Council. The past 20 years, Ralph served as the Flight Test Coordinator and Assistant Program Manager for Westar Aerospace and Defense Group/Redstone Test Center.
In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Glover, Mary Ruth Brunson, and Carrie Bell Chalker.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Chalker; his sons, Matt Chalker (Shirah), Phillip Chalker (Genie); his grandchildren, Korgan, Keaton and Kohen Chalker. His sister, Willie Jordan (Jody); his brothers, C. David Chalker (Patsy) and William Coley Chalker, Jr. (Liz); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pathway Baptist Church, 3551 Flowers Chapel Rd Dothan, AL 36305.
