Randall "Randy" Wade Wilson passed away on July 8, 2024, in Tacoma, WA. Born on September 7, 1953, in Pineville, KY, Randy’s journey through life was marked by service and love.
Memorial graveside services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church in Dothan, AL. Condolences and memories can be expressed through the family’s designated channels.
Randy graduated from Leavittsburgh High School and soon after enlisted in the United States Air Force. Serving with honor, he held roles as a personnel specialist and employment clerk, with postings in California and Korea. His service, concluded with an honorable discharge in 1974.
Following his military service, Randy embarked on a successful career with McDonald’s, culminating in his role as a District Manager in Lakeland, Florida. His professional journey later led him and his family to Hilliard, Ohio.
Randy was a voracious collector of books and DVDs, he cherished every episode of the NCIS TV series. His passion for playing hearts, a tradition passed down from his father, remained with him throughout his life. A lifelong Cleveland sports fan, Randy’s devotion endured even after he moved to Tacoma, WA, in 2015.
Randy is survived by his children Cyndi Wilson, Misty and Victor Nop, Andrew Wilson, and Katie Wilson; as well as his grandchildren, Taven and Avery Nop. Randy is also survived by his brothers, Jerry and Nina Wilson, and Gary and Stephanie Wilson, alongside other cherished family members. Preceding him in death were his sister, Patty Jennings Davis, and his brothers, Craig Wilson and Clayton (Butch) Perry, as well as his parents, Finley and Evelyn (Thompson) Wilson.
