Mr. Raymon (Noonie) Lanis Johnson, loving husband to Tami Johnson and unbelievable step-father to T.K. and Ty Scott passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017.


Memorial services will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 7 p.m. at Memphis Baptist Church. Speakers include his wife, his children, Sammy Roney, Durwood Skipper, Rick Cooper and Rev. Rick Glenn and Kendall Glover directing.  


The family will be receiving friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 prior to service.


Raymon left his earthly home on December 16, 2017 to sit at the side of his Heavenly Father to once again be young and beautiful. He was a bachelor until March 17, 2007 when he married the loves of his life Tami, T.K. and Ty. Noonie was a proud 1970 graduate of Cottonwood High School where he excelled at being Noonie Johnson and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church Cottonwood.


A special thanks to Covenant Hospice for their loving care, to the Johnson Family, our Haleburg family at the Blue Barn, Bob and Julie Caputo and our entire Carpetland family for endless love and support.


He was preceded in death by a brother Carl Johnson.


Survivors include his wife, Tami Johnson, Headland; sons, T.K. and Ty Scott, Headland; two brothers, Marlett (Joann) and Jimmy (Peggy); four sisters, Sara Smith, Tiny (Jim) Matthews, Shirley Johnson, Ann (Herman) Love, Nina Jo (Harry) Kirkland; sisters-in-law, Cathy (Shane) Keasler, Nell Johnson; mother-in-law Noma Snellgrove; and many nieces and nephews.
