   Mr. Richard Frank Kohler, a resident of Ozark, died Monday, July 15, 2024, in Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama. He was 67 years old.

   A memorial service for Mr. Kohler will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 18, 2024, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Pastor Derek McCarty officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.

   Mr. Kohler was born September 21, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Kohler served in the United States Army from 1975 until 1989. Following his military service, he worked as a truck driver and retired from Buddy Moore Trucking. Mr. Kohler enjoyed woodworking, videoing and taking pictures of family and being outdoors. He was an avid Alabama football fan.

   He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Corbit; one daughter, Chrissie Giles and daughter-in-law, Terri Sigers. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jeannette Sanders Kohler of Ozark, his children, Teresa Pierce (Ray) of Trussville, Ruby Russell (Mark) of Dothan, Danny Sigers (Debbie) of Ozark, Mack Sigers of Ariton and Denise Adkinson (Dwayne) of Montgomery. Twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren also survive.
