OZARK…. Mr. Rick Schultz, a resident of Ozark, died late Wednesday afternoon, June 17, 2020 at his home. He was 55.


            In keeping with the wishes of his family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


            Mr. Schultz was born October 6, 1964 in Springfield, MA and lived in New York and Iowa before moving to Ozark in 1979. He was a 1983 Graduate of Carroll High School and he attended Wallace College, Auburn University and Troy University where he received a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting. Mr. Schultz, while in high school, worked with Revco Drug Store in Ozark and Morrison’s. He later was employed with Sony Corp. as a Sales Associate in the Company Store. Mr. Schultz was of the United Methodist Faith. He was an avid Auburn University supporter, enjoyed NASCAR and loved his family especially his nieces and nephews. Mr. Schultz was preceded in death by his father, Alan John Schultz.


            Surviving relatives include his mother, Judy Falt Schultz, Ozark; his sister, Sheri Garrard (Gary), Warner Robins, GA; his brother, Scott Schultz (Jessica), Midland City, AL; nieces and nephews, Jake Garrard, Mickensie Garrard, Jessica Sutton (Britt), John Smith and Samantha Smith; great-nieces and great-nephews, Tenley Sutton, Savannah Sutton, Pierson Sutton, Shaylee Furchess and Leo Smith.
